I know everyone is talking about how Jake had the lamest death ever in Homestuck, but there was one weird detail that caught my eye.  I don’t know if this is a thing on Hussie’s part or not, but…

CD said peanuts “like the kind from circuses,” right?  “Circus peanuts” aren’t peanuts at all.  They’re candy.  They’re marshmallows shaped like peanuts.

The only other way to read the update is to pick up on the fact that Lalonde’s hesitance about playing the game and all her doubts about Jane being the heiress to the Crocker empire and Jake wearing his strange computers are things that she took from what her mother told her.

Her mother knows.
