Here’s the test reading for the microphone! I am rather pleased with it, all told.
This is one of my favorite stories of Taz’s, so it was a blast to read it with a nice new mic. I hope you enjoy it, Taz!

Okay, really basic post to show off the mic, answering an ask about my top five things to do in Japan!
Now for more recording because I’ve calmed down.
And here is my reading of angerliz’s with the door wide open, no one can leave!
THIS IS OVER AN HOUR LONG AND NEARLY 64 MB IN SIZE, JUST FYI.
This is the single longest thing I’ve recorded yet! I’ve wanted to give it a reading ever since I started doing this whole podcast thing, so since I’m a crazy manic motherfucker right now, I decided to give it a whack.
It was pretty fun! I’d say more, but I have work soon and I just want to make sure this post gets made before I scarper. Enjoy, folks!
Because I felt like sharing some form of dumbass audio after working on three different recording projects tonight.
A kindly anon told me that somehow my chapter four file got broken recently, so here’s chapter four of Frontierstuck re-uploaded for your listening pleasure!
And here, as promised earlier, is the revised Serendipity Gospel prologue!
I’m fairly pleased with this, especially since this is my first more serious run with my new pop filter. Thinking more about basic sound mechanics made me realize that an audio transcript (as the text implies) would be variable in sound levels and how sound itself moves throughout a large courtroom. Because I knew what I was doing (more or less), I was able to finish this a lot faster than I originally thought I would. To wit: I totally thought I would have to go to bed before I finished and posted this.
So, feel free to comment on the differences, and let me know which version you wind up preferring, as it’ll help me figure out how to produce better and more interesting podcasts. Enjoy!
